Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer weekly therapy?
No. If you are not a weekly client, you must book an intensive. I offer EMDR Intensives because they offer a greater depth of therapeutic breakthrough and better results than traditional therapy. They help you feel better faster and in a shorter period.
Are sessions in person or online?
I offer both! Sessions can be in person at our Delaware office or from the comfort of their own home. Others enjoy the connection of being in the same room together. It depends on your comfort level and what works best for you.
What are your hours?
EMDR Intensives are offered on Tuesdays, Wednesday, Thursday, and Fridays and are typically scheduled 1-3 months in advance. Saturday appointments are accepted at an additional cost.
How often do we meet?
I work using an Intensive model which means we have longer sessions and fewer appointments. This accelerated format allows us to go deeper so you can feel better faster.
Option #1: EMDR Intensives
EMDR Intensives are a powerful way to get a jump start on the healing process. You can book 3 consecutive days of EMDR therapy (3 hours each day). This is perfect for anyone who is ready for a breakthrough. Visit the EMDR Intensives page for more details.
Option #2: Monthly EMDR
Sessions are 3 hours once a month. Some clients decide to meet with another therapist for support with day-to-day stress so we can focus entirely on processing trauma with EMDR
Option #3: Quarterly EMDR
Sessions are 3 hours once a quarter (every 3 months). Some clients decide to meet with another therapist for support with day-to-day stress so we can focus entirely on processing trauma with EMDR

How can I get started with EMDR therapy?
Fill out the Contact Form. Share with me a little bit about what’s going on and what you are hoping to experience in therapy. I would love to share about how I can help you heal and live a life full of meaning and joy.
Do you accept insurance?
No, I do not accept insurance for EMDR Intensive packages. All of my services are private pay via cash, credit card, FSA, or HSA.
I am happy to provide you with the necessary paperwork (superbill or receipt) for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement for a portion of the session fee.
Please know that not all insurance plans offer reimbursement for out-of-network providers and some plans may have a deductible or an allowable amount. I recommend calling the customer service number on the back of your insurance card and speak to a representative for details about your specific plan.
What's a Good Faith Estimate?
- For out of network services, you have a right to receive a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) of the bill you’ll receive for services.
- If actual cost of services exceeds $400, you may dispute the resolution by contacting HHS within 120 days.
- The provided estimates may change as treatment progresses and are not a guarantee of treatment frequency, length, or cost.
- Make sure your provider gives you a GFE at least 1 day before your services begin.
- For more information about your right to a GFE, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
